I'm still sorry for missing last friday. I don't even know what happened. Guess I didn't realise it was friday until it was sunday night. :s

I was at the hairdresser's today, my mom's birthday present for me. I went for red again, this time. Though I still feel black is more me, I can live with the red, too. Anything that makes me not look grey and boring, I guess.

Exhausting day today, lots of running around, and I'm more then glad to be home now and watch some tv.

In case anyone doesn't know about watermelon_wave yet, I'm gonna enlighten you. And remind everyone else ;)

watermelon_wave is my challenge community that accepts stories for all fandoms and pairings, no matter what. But it's mostly centered around RPS/RPF of the Supernatural crowd and accompanying people.

But, again, EVERYTHING is welcome! BSG, Burn Notice, Legend of the Seeker, NCIS, Leverage, Bones, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Eastwick, ... you watch it, you write it, you post it!



Challenges don't 'close', you can pick any challenge at any time. But if you want, I can make you a small banner for a completed challenge.



The challenges:

Challenge #07 - Kodak Moment
Give me One Moment, One Day, One Memory.
How short or long is up to you.
You can write about it as it's happening, from an outsider POV, being told as a memory... just pick one moment and share it.
Happy or sad is up to you.

Challenge #06 - Fire & Ice
Do what ever you want with it. Take it literally, or not, use it for surroundings, feelings, tension, ice cream and cigarrets. Show me what you can come up with, interpret it how ever you like.

Challenge #05 - Mighty Ducks
Write an AU fic where the guys (Jay, Jen, Chris, Steve, Chad, ... whoever you want or all together)[every other fandom is welcome as well, of course] are in their teens or early twenties. There have to be sports involved, preferably team sports of any kind. You don't have to stick to ice hockey, you can totally go for foodball, basketball, baseball, ... whatever floats your boat.
You can work with a movie storyline if you want to, but you don't have to.
The guys can be on the same team,
opposite teams,
one can be on a team - the other one wanting to be part of a team but isn't allowed for whatever reason,
one is on a team - the other one's the coach,
and you can totally go there: one is a cheerleader for the team the other one is on *g*

Challenge #04 - Elves & Fairies
Before you say anything, let me explain. If you want to, you can see this as a Christmas Challenge. Go all Santa and his Elves if you want, go Christmas shopping at the mall where the kids go to see Santa, do Christmas Cosplay... whatever gets your muse going.
But you can also go ANY OTHER WAY that is inspired by the topic, no matter what way you interpret it. If you have questions or unsure about something, just ask me, you know where to find me! :)

Challenge #03 - Three Little Words
NOW, you can decide for yourself which words that'll be. You can go with I love you, I hate you, Just f*ck me, I am dying, Just kill me............ whatever you want.
AS LONG as those three words are the turning point of the story. (but I can live with it, too, if it's not)

Challenge #02 - I Touch Myself
It's a little bit of a Song-Fic-Thingy, but doesn't actually have to be. Let me explain this *g*
There's this song, *I Touch Myself* which is originally a Blondie song I think.
- Use this song as inspiration,
- use the songtext as guideline,
- use parts of the songtext or
- write a something including the songtext.
I don't really care as long as it has anything to do with the song in any way.

Challenge #01 - Cherry-Stem-Knot
All you have to do, is write a fic that features the act of tying a knot into a cherry stem, while the thing is in your mouth, without using your hands of course.





Everyone, I'd love you even more then I already do, if you'd pimp the comm out to your friends, specially someone who writes.
It makes me sad to see how quiet it is lately.

First off, I wanna thank you all for the amazing birthday wishes and gifts. You made my day! :)

I got so cute V-gifts from you, paid account time and extra user pics, I got presents in the mail today, flowers, a giftcard for the hair dresser and three charms for my pandora bracelett.

I didn't let anyone ruin my mood, even though there were some that tried. I don't know why they can't at least pull themselves together on birthdays or just stay home. Anyway. I did have a good day, and you guys were a big part of that. THANK YOU. :)

There's two things that make me smile almost every day.

Whenever I go to work by train, I walk through a park and there is this one tree, that's like magic. It's the first tree to have leaves in the spring and the last to lose them. It's the only one that still has them all. It always make me think of that fanfic I read a while ago, that still makes me smile whenever I think about it. It's full of magic and friendship and longing and music. I totally have to read that again at some point :)

The other thing is on the trainstation. There's a crack in the wall, that looks like a butterfly. I really need to take the camera with me! It totally makes me smile every time :)
